Aangan
By Michael Mueller

Aangan opened around mid-2025 on Carrer de Sugranyes, near Badal metro at the edge of Sants. Small, homey and inexpensive, this Indian-Nepali restaurant serves North Indian curries and steamed momos in Sants-Badal.
The momos come with a sauce of tomato, sesame and cashew, and the cooks make chowmein as well as butter chicken, korma and lamb rogan josh. For the Goan fish curry they use hake, cooking it with coconut, almond and mustard. Diners mention chicken tikka and chicken tikka kadai in their accounts of meals here, along with chicken saag, lamb biryani and a lamb tikka sizzler. You’ll also find thali, butter paneer and garlic naan. The staff welcome people warmly – one diner mentions manager Roshan by name – and the cooks will adjust dishes to your taste.
A bottle of house red or white is inexpensive, as is the food; for beer drinkers there’s Cobra, and the kitchen’s Nepali dishes have company on the drinks list in Nepali masala tea.
