An oasis in a seedy area, Trópico pays tribute to tropical food and drink from around the globe. You’ll find dishes from Asia to the Americas but no fusion fare; the authenticity of each region’s cuisine is respected here.

Dine on ceviche, fried yuca or a Caribbean burger, or stop by for their famous brunch any day of the week (available until 5pm) for arepas with perico, Magreb crêpes or a bowl of Amazonian açaí berries. They do traditional brunch items like pancakes and Eggs Benedict too. Complement with a fresh fruit juice, smoothie or cocktail. Dinner is available from 8pm, with some menu items on offer from 5pm to 8pm.

South American founders Rafa and Rodrigo have creative backgrounds and it shows: Nordic furniture, vintage lamps and flowers combine with white, greens and browns to gorgeous effect. A map shows a world without borders – if only everyone saw it that way.
