If you are the mood for spicy combos, November 16th will be the evening to experience it – at Razzmatazz when the mighty duo Acid Arab take over The Loft with a mix of acid tonalities and Middle Eastern atmospheres. Debuting in 2013, the two French producers have developed a unique approach to world music, exploring its influence on genres such as techno and house over the years.
The same night, Jamaican collective Equiknoxx featuring vocalist Shanique Marie will showcase their unique interpretation of dancehall in Lolita. Drawing from the same innovative flair as their illustrious predecessors to make riddims for the 21st century, the two have released on Demdike Stare’s label and are now featured in some of the most edgy festivals in the world.
