Born Street Food 2024
By Charlotte Stace
If I had to choose, I’d say my favourite neighbourhood in Barcelona is El Born. It’s one of the oldest barrios in the city, so has the gothic inspired architecture and narrow, dimly-lit streets which are teeming with laidback cafes and designer boutiques. But aside from that, Born is home to some of the city’s best restaurants. And to celebrate this, Born Street Food - an event that puts Born’s food under the spotlight - returns for a new edition with more passion (and appetite) than ever.
Held as usual at Pla del Palau for three days, attendees can expect to find a range of the neighbourhood's best chefs offering show cooking, as well as food and wine tastings and local produce to buy. Organised by Barcelona Born Gourmet, some eateries participating in this edition include: 7 Portes, Paradiso, Estimar, Pork Boig Per Tu, Oaxaca, Mercat de Santa Caterina, and Bar Brutal.
If you’re into gastronomy, don’t miss this mega foodie experience.
