Croissant fest
By Charlotte Stace

Poble Espanyol is set to host the inaugural Croissant Fest this February. Celebrating Barcelona's finest croissants and related delicacies, the event will feature a diverse array of sweet and savoury creations from over 15 renowned bakeries, including Hofmann, Bubó, Sacha, Takashi Ochiai, Casa Rafuel, La Porca and Les Truites. The best bit? You’re invited to sample their offerings and vote for your favorite croissant.
Beyond tasting pastries, there’ll be live music, DJ sessions, cooking demonstrations and workshops suitable for all ages. Each participating bakery will present three specialties: a gourmet option, a classic croissant and a savoury creation. The event aims to crown the best gourmet croissant in Barcelona, with awards determined by both a professional jury and public votes.
Admission options include a free entry for local residents, and a Gourmet ticket costing €7.50. The Gourmet ticket ensures entry and includes a sweet gourmet croissant, a beverage (soft drink, beer, or juice), and access to explore Poble Espanyol.
