Two legendary UK artists of different vintages dominate a bumper bill on Saturday at Nitsa. Upstairs there's a four-hour set from London's Daniel Avery, pictured, an artist who always thrives when presented with an extended time slot such as this. A studio partner and unofficial protégé of the late, great Andrew Weatherall, Avery released one of last decade's strongest debut albums in 2013's Drone Logic, and has flourished on record and behind the decks in the years since.

Mr Scruff, who headlines downstairs in Astin, bubbled up in Manchester in the mid-90s and has a longstanding association with Coldcut's highly respected Ninja Tune label. Scruff, aka Andrew Carthy, was and is known for extended sets of six hours or more that touch on music from just about every corner of the electronic music firmament. Support upstairs comes from Rosa Pacheco, aka Phosky, while in Astin there are warmup sets from Ivy Barkakati and Arnau Obiols.
