Halloween at Poble Espanyol
By Charlotte Stace
Halloween is here! From now until November 1st Poble Espanyol will be the scariest place in Barcelona. You will be able to walk its streets, decorated especially for the occasion, and enjoy different activities. These include a costume contest, family shows, a make believe cemetery, and artisan handicraft workshops.
In addition, there will be the opportunity for families to experience the traditional La Castañada (The Chestnut Party). There will be sites with roasted chestnuts, sweet potatoes and panellets sweets on offer. But that's not all! Take a stroll through the streets and squares of the Poble, slide down the giant slides, visit the Fran Daurel Museum, immerse yourself in the halloween audiovisual installations and stop off at one of the bars and restaurants on the site.
Don’t forget to dress up as witches or warlocks, zombies, demons, skulls or your favorite scary characters and have a great time with family or friends!
