Singer Katia Ledoux comes to CaixaForum to perform her rendition of Table For Two. The mezzo-soprano will be accompanied by Maria Salamon on violin, Ebony Lim on double bass, Anna Hauner on piano, Andreas Reisenhofer on drums and Juliette Chauvet narrating.
The performance tells the story of two strangers who connect through failed romances. They tell their stories through an interpretation of international hits from the past 500 years. It is a concert that tells a hilarious and heartbreaking story of disastrous adventures in the dating world. With music ranging from baroque opera to Spanish zarzuela and current pop hits, it provides an opportunity to meet two charming characters as they connect in their search for love.
Written and performed by Katia Ledoux, she was the winner of the Extraordinary Award for the best Oratorio-Lied performer in the Tenor Viñas Competition in 2022.
