La reina del pop

La Reina del Pop brings a tribute to the Spanish band La Oreja de Van Gogh. Hailing from San Sebastián, this group epitomised the late 90s and early 2000s of Spanish pop-rock. The band went through two stages: the first with the sweet voice of Amaia Montero on lead vocals; the second with the beautiful, melodic sounds of Leire Martínez taking over from Montero.
As such, this tribute night will pay homage to both phases of La Oreja de Van Gogh’s musical journey. With its six musicians, this tribute aims to reproduce every little detail of the complex productions of LODVG's albums and live performances. The soft melodies with velvet voices, the changes of rhythms that transform a ballad into an upbeat song, the moving lyrics of love, nostalgia and tenderness. All this in a powerful, rocking live show that will overflow with energy from the first to the last song.
