Les Mademocelli

Les Mademoicelli is a cello quartet with a consolidated career in the field of performance and pedagogy. They come to CaixaForum to perform on Wednesday 10th August at 8:00 p.m.
Formed in 2015 by four performers - Anna Costa, Andrea Amador, Irma Bau and Amaia Ruano - they are united by the desire to create shows and concerts that bring music to the public in a playful way.
On this occasion they will offer "El Gran Tango", a program dedicated to the Argentine maestro Astor Piazzolla, an indispensable figure for understanding the evolution of tango. A famous dance, the tango is a partner dance that originated in the 1880s along the Río de la Plata, the natural border between Argentina and Uruguay. There is limited capacity, so it is advised to book tickets in advance before they sell out.
