Mercat de Mercats comes back to the heart of the city for its 12th edition. The Gastronomy Festival par excellence brings a whole host of gastronomic delights to Plaça de Catalunya.
The market will be filled with the best products from traders, local restaurants and Catalan producers. It is a unique event for enjoying talks, presentations, cooking shows and tastings by professionals, as well as a meeting point for journalists within the world of gastronomy. Expect to see around 30 market stalls, 50 local producers, 12 bars and restaurants, and 16 wine cellars taking part.
You’ll be invited to try a number of delicious Catalan specialities such as a traditional Mediterranean paella, calamaries, and a range of hams. For the children, there will be a dedicated Children’s Area with activities for them to enjoy. For more information head over to the event’s website.
