Capital city and power base of Shinra Electric Power Company in the iconic videogame Final Fantasy VII, Midgaris also the name of a top notch Berlin-based label.
Founded in 2014 by Jacopo Severitano, the imprint made itself known over the years thanks to cutting-edge deep techno and ambient releases, ranging from the subaqueous tonalities of Wata Igarashi to the recent reissue of Acid Mt. Fuji, one of the most influential albums of the ‘90s. Midgar lands in Barcelona with three monthly nights, the first of which is happening on Friday, December 14th at Moog. The debut showcase will feature owner Jacopo and Ruhig, a key figure of the label since its very beginning.
Droning patterns, gloomy synths and transcendent basslines will mingle on the dancefloor. A must for all spacey club techno lovers.
