MNAC tour
By Charlotte Stace
Barcelona’s Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya, known by the locals as MNAC, is one of the city’s most impressive art museums. With a collection ranging from the 6th century BC through the Renaissance and into contemporary times, you’ll be taken on a journey through some of the Mediterranean’s most impressive artwork.
But the art isn’t the only special thing about this museum. The palatial building sits impressively on Montjuic offering vistas across the entire city up to the mountains on one side and across to the sea on the other. If you’ve not had a chance to visit yet, or would like to go back, you can do so with a group tour of the museum.
Organised by Rutas Vive Barcelona, the group will meet at Placa España and head up to MNAC together. You’ll get a chance to see the art, visit the terrace and witness those awe-inspiring views. The tour will last 2 hours. The cost is 12 Euros.
