Mojo thunder

One of the great things about seeing live music is that you can keep abreast of new bands and rising stars. A band that we have recently discovered is Mojo Thunder. From Lexington, Kentucky, the group is composed of Sean Sullivan (vocals/guitar), Bryson Willoughby (lead guitar), Andrew Brockman (bass), and Zac Shoopman (drums).
This rock n' roll quartet mixes high energy rhythms with southern harmonies to create a hybrid sound that they term ‘southern alternative’. Bringing in blues, cosmic Americana and rock, they serve up a unique sound. Their debut album Hymns from the Electric Church (2021) was met with critical acclaim and received a score of 9 out of 10 from the prestigious Classic Rock Magazine. Now they’ve just released their second album, The Infinite Hope (2024), and are kicking it off with a world tour.
