With no less than 11 quality DO wine regions, hundreds of producers and a myriad of indigenous grape varieties, Catalunya’s wine scene has never been more vibrant or exciting.

This year marks the 39^th edition of Mostra de Vins i Caves de Catalunya, the largest, local wine fair of the year, celebrating just this. This September, expect to see close to a hundred stalls lined up along the beautiful Ronda de Sant Antoni, close to the newly renovated market of the same name, from September 20^th to 24^th.

Producers hail from every corner of Catalunya, keen to show off their wines and cavas. Make no mistake, this is the Catalan wine fair of the year. Come and explore Catalan wine this September and fear not, for there’ll be local food producers on hand to supply cured meats, cheeses, fresh pastries and more delicious morsels to accompany all that wine.
