New York's Nada Surf were roundly dismissed as one-hit wonders for a time in 1996 when their single Popular, a satirical take on high school social hierarchies, catapulted them to fame. Here they are 30 years later, however, having proved themselves to be anything but. Formed in 1992 and comprising the same trio since 1996, Nada Surf's blend of introspective lyrics and melodic alt-rock has earned them a devoted fanbase over the years, and albums such as Let Go (2002), The Weight Is a Gift (2005) and Lucky (2008) have been met with critical and popular acclaim.

Constantly active since their formation - no cash-in reunions of band members who can barely stand each other here - Nada Surf are currently touring Moon Mirror, their first LP in four years and a worthy addition to their canon. Doors are at 9pm and the headliners are onstage at 9pm.
