Spanish singer and songwriter Ruth Lorenzo comes to perform live at Razzmatazz. Born in Murcia, she grew up inspired by the English musical Annie and the Catalan opera singer Montserat Caballé.
As a teenager, she lived in Utah for a short time with her family. It was there that she learnt English and had the opportunity to perform in high school musicals. After returning to Spain, the singer had stints in several bands, but it wasn’t until 2008 when she took part in the British TV talent show The X Factor, that her music career really took off. After making it to the quarter finals, she was voted off. But, in 2009, she signed a record deal with Virgin.
Since then she’s released two studio albums - Planeta Azul (2014) and Loveaholic (2018) - and toured widely across Europe. Now, as part of her new tour, she comes to perform for fans in Barcelona. Get your tickets now.
