American singer and songwriter Shawn James comes to perform at Razzmatazz. Although he had been interested in making music from a young age, the Chicago native began his career as a sound engineer at a studio in Nashville.

In 2012, he moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas, to pursue his own career as a solo musician. He initially busked around downtown Fayetteville and from there, he started playing in local venues and recording his own songs in a bedroom studio. Later in 2012, he released his first studio album, Shadows. In 2013, he began working with his backing band, The Shapeshifters and went on to release 3 more solo albums, a live album, and 5 albums with The Shapeshifters - as well as setting up his own record company. 

He’s now beginning another tour to promote his latest record, Honor & Vengeance (2023). Tickets on sale now.
