For well over a decade, the live shows of the Sofia producer Strahil Velchev, aka KiNK, have been renowned as some of the best in the world - spontaneous and impeccably realised sets with audience participation and wild improvisation never far away. Velchex started out as a kid in early-90s Bulgaria with access to little more than a tape player and a burning desire to succeed in music fired by his burgeoning love for the house and techno of the era. His humble beginnings always shine through in the irrepressible joy he clearly takes from being able to do this for a living, and that can't help but feed back to his audiences.
Main support comes from London's fiery OK Williams, whose excellent monthly NTS show touches on everything from UK rap and deep house to jungle & UK funky, and who has been making similarly significant waves on the club and festival circuits at home and abroad for several years now.
