Willikens & Ivkovic
By Matthew Duffield
Journeys at Razzmatazz, where the night starts earlier and DJs play longer sets, has become one of the venue’s most popular concepts. From time to time they also host Intimate Journeys upstairs in Razzmatazz 3 (Lolita), where the focus is on more eclectic guests with a house party vibe.
On Saturday, March 16th they welcome Willikens & Ivkovic, residents at the famous Salon des Amateurs in Düsseldorf, who will be playing a four-hour set. Willikens (Lena from Germany) and Ivkovic (Vladimir from Belgrade) are known for their cosmopolitan and far-reaching musical philosophy, so this should be a thrilling expedition to the outer reaches of electronic music and back. Joining them are Barcelona’s own Alicia Carrera and DJohnston, while Journeys will be in full effect in the main room with 2manydjs also playing an early four-hour set.
A joint advance ticket for both parties is available for €28.
