Poblenou’s annual craft beer fest returns for an eighth edition with 50 local and international breweries in what is billed as Spain’s “largest beer fair.”The organizers are a non-profit supported by the Generalitat de Catalunya and Ajuntament de Barcelona with the laudable aim of promoting local consumption and production of craft beer.

Catalunya, Galicia, Basque Country and Madrid will be represented, together with breweries from the US, Italy, Belgium, Portugal, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, The Netherlands and Germany (thanks to a collaboration this edition with the Berlin Beer Week). The program includes guided tastings, talks, live music, DJ sessions and kids activities. There will also be 15 street food trucks, including vegetarian and gluten-free options.

It all takes place around the intersection of Rambla del Poblenou and Passeig Calvell. Craft beer, street food and live music 100 meters from Bogatell beach? Yes please!
