Coinciding with the city’s La Mercè celebrations, the CCCB is opening its doors to all city dwellers. Free of charge, attendees will be able to enter the museum’s current exhibition, Agnès Varda. Photographing, Filming, Recycling. Furthermore, they’ll be able to head up to the CCCB’s Mirador to enjoy magnificent vistas spanning the entire city.
Agnès Varda. Photographing, Filming, Recycling: This exhibition traces the life, work and fascinating stories of Varda, a free, modern creator who was committed to her political and social environment. She was a photographer, artist and filmmaker, and a relentless pioneer of the Nouvelle Vague.
Mirador CCCB: The museum’s most emblematic space, this lookout spot is located on the fifth floor. Looking out of the large glass façade, you’ll be able to see Barcelona from a different vantage point with views of the sea, the old city, Montjuic, Tibidabo and the Collserola Tower.
